Thanks for your support and encouragement.
Till date, we have received a total of INR 14,500 to help the three survivors of gender violence identified by us.
Donors for this amount are Celin Thomas, Swar Thanaojam, Neha Pathania, Prashansa Poddar, Rajneesh Sharma and Amrita Mukherjee.
Here is a bit of update:
1. Gudia case: A well known school in NCR has admitted Gudia, promised free education till class 12th to her and her brother, who will be admitted next year and her father a job. They have recently rented a place next to the school. Immediate priority is to arrange a monthly rent of INR 5,000 for them.
2. The eight year old survivor from Okhla: She has been admitted to school but still struggling to arrange a monthly fees of INR750.
3. Vedpal case: Vedpal's seventy year old father is still fighting with cancer. Its even difficult to make ends meet at home. Any contribution will be good.
